The Leveling Rod, also known as a level staff or survey rod, is a critical tool for height and distance measurement in surveying, engineering, construction, and topographic mapping. Available in 3-meter and 5-meter versions, these rods are designed to work seamlessly with auto levels, dumpy levels, digital levels, and total stations for accurate elevation readings across various terrain types.
 
Crafted from lightweight yet durable aluminum or fiberglass, each leveling rod features a telescoping design, allowing it to collapse for easy transport and extend quickly to full height in the field. The sections lock securely with snap buttons or friction locks, ensuring rigid alignment and repeatable accuracy during use.
 
Graduated in metric units, the rod markings are precisely printed in high-contrast black and red on a white background, making them easy to read through optical instruments at long distances. Most models include dual-face markings—one side in E-scale/bar code pattern (for auto/digital levels) and the other side with regular cm/mm graduations for manual readings.
 
The bottom of the rod features a sturdy pointed base or non-slip rubber foot, providing stability on uneven or slippery ground. Each rod comes with a soft carrying case for convenient transport and protection.
